The actual name of these Houses of Worship is Mashriqu'l-Adhkár which means "Dawning Place of the Mention of God". The spirit of the Mashriqu'l-Adhkár is not only worship but service. Each one, as time passes, will include in its precincts additional facilities for services such as care and education. Worship and service are inseparable in the Bahá’í Faith. Bahá'u'lláh wrote "Let deeds, not words, be your adorning."
